Edward M. Galiczynski, DO, FAAD

A native of Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania, Dr. Galiczynski graduated with honors from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and graduated with highest honors from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a one-year internal medicine internship at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania followed by a combined Dermatology Residency and Research Fellowship at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He has conducted clinical research on a myriad of dermatologic diseases and was a co-investigator in 15 clinical trials during his time at the Cleveland Clinic. He is well published in medical literature and has authored and co-authored several textbook chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He has lectured at numerous local and national dermatology meetings and has worked and trained with leading experts in the field of dermatology.
Dr. Galiczynski strives to provide the highest quality of patient care. He emphasizes the importance of good communication with patients and focusing on each individual's concerns.
Dr. Galiczynski is double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (MDS). He is among the first Mohs surgeons in the world to become board certified in his field. He strives to provide the highest quality of patient care. He emphasizes the importance of good communication with patients and focusing on each individual's concerns. His surgical training and expertise is comprehensive and includes diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, photodynamic therapy, scar treatment and all aspects of cosmetic dermatology, including neurotoxins and fillers. In 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, Dr. Galiczynski was bestowed the honor of Phoenix Magazine Top Doctor by his peers.
Dr. Galiczynski is a former college athlete and enjoys sports, personal fitness, reading, hiking, fly-fishing and time with his wife and two children. He is active and involved at the local, regional and national level with the following organizations.
